Cirrax
Exploring Uncharted Markets

  • Cirrax is a prosthetic staple fiber developed to enhance the practice of Microvascular Decompression (MVD).
The journey of its developement started from the requst of a doctor who sought a safer product with the approval for MVD procedures.

MVD is a neurosurgical procedure performed for facial spasms and trigeminal neuralgia as a radical treatment for symptom improvement. While these conditions may not be life-threatening, the impact on patients' lives is profound.
Originally, MVD was not well-knowned, and the size of the market was estimated to be small from the number of surgeries performed. However, we embarked on the Cirrax project with a mission: to rescue those silently suffering from these conditions and to raise awareness about MVD itself.

  • The launch of Cirrax confronted obstacles. Being the first MVD prosthetic material in Japan, we faced substantial challenges in pharmaceutical approval and in insurance coverage. Skepticism sometimes surfaced even within our own company.
Yet, we always maintained positivite to the situation, firmly believing that this product could open new horizons and make a meaningful societal contribution.

Today, Cirrax receives good reputation by doctors who conduct MVD.
Witnessing the impact of our product on patients' lives, we reaffirmed the power of manufacturing.
Furthermore, we are looking forward to participate in activities to raise the awareness towards MVD.
