The 66th Annual Meeting of the Kansai Thoracic Surgery Society
We exhibited at the 66th Annual Meeting of the Kansai Society of Thoracic Surgeons held at the Osaka International Convention Center in Osaka Prefecture on June 8-9, 2023.
Aiming at minimally invasive pediatric cardiac surgery, we are developing FortaPyknó, a cardiac repair patch that works to reduce needle hole bleeding, and LEVEL FREE x ACRI, a suture needle that excels in hemostasis and combines sharpness and strength.
The luncheon seminar held on the 8th was chaired by Dr. Hajime Ichikawa, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, JCHO Osaka Hospital, and Dr. Narumitsu Banai, Department of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center.
The theme of the seminar was "Experience with the New Type of Biological Patch Forta Pyknó (Knitted PTFE) - In vitro study and clinical experience in combination with Level Free needles. In his lecture, he shared various surgical cases using Forta Pyknó and his experience of using it to reduce needle hole bleeding.
With Dr. Iwai (center) after his lecture
